レッスンの予習１
遂に明日、英会話学校のGabaに復帰します。もう前日のこの時間なので、キャンセルや変更はできません。気合を入れて突撃してきます。明日はかなり久しぶりなので、テキストを使わずにレッスンを雑談に使ってリハビリしようと思っています。そのための雑談の弾を今日は準備します。
かなり久しぶり！覚えてますか？
It has been a long time! Do you remember me?

元気にしてましたよ。コロナウイルスには感染していないですよ。そっちはどう？
I have been fine. I didn't catch corona virus. How about you?
あまり勉強してなかったから英語が鈍っていると思う。
I haven't used English for a while so my English is rusty.
久しぶりのレッスンなので、今日のレッスンはテキストを使わずに、雑談だけにしたい。
I want to chat in this lesson because this lesson is for the first time in a while. I did not bring my textbook.
今も週二回在宅勤務しています。
I work from home twice a week.
在宅勤務はかなり快適です。満員電車は大嫌いです。
Working from home is very comfortable. I hate crowded trains.
しいて言えば、在宅勤務で怠けてしまうことがあります。疲れているときは、寝てしまっている時があります。
If I had to choose, that sometimes makes me lazy. I sometimes fall asleep when I am tired.
海外事業の部署に所属していて、庶務や契約を担当しています。
I belong to overseas division and I am in charge of contract and general affairs.
私が派遣されている会社が合併しました。そのため、しばらくバタバタしていました。
The company which I am dispatched merged this April, so I have been swamped with work.
しかし今は、知っての通り、海外に行くことはできないので、あまり忙しくありません。
But now, as you know, we can't go overseas so I am not so busy now.

基本的には家にいました。
Basically , I stayed home.
実は先月、ディズニーシーに行きました。
To be honest, I went to Tokyo Disney Sea last month.
いつもは混んでるけど、入場制限をしているおかげでかなり空いていて、楽しめました。
There are always a lot of peope, but it was empty, so I enjoyed.
ディズニーだけでなく、他の観光地も人が少なくて快適だと聞いています。
Not only Disney but also other sightseeing spots are empty and comfortable.
今年、昇進試験があるので、そのための勉強をしていました。
I have a promotion test this year, so I studied for it.

結婚式を延期しました。当初は今年の７月予定でしたが、来年の７月に延期しました。
We postponed our wedding party. We were plannning to hold it on July, but we decided to postpone it until next July.
延期を決めたのは５月です。かなり悩みましたが、今振り返れば正解でした。
We decided on May. That was very difficult decision, but thinking about it now, the decision was good.
人によっては、キャンセルや延期でかなりの金額を取られることがあるそうです。
I heard that some people paid a lot of money for the cancelletion or postponement.
今はカナダに帰ることができないと思います。入国制限が解除されたら、国に帰るのですか？
I think you can't go back to Canada now. Will you go back to Canada after the immgration restrictions are cancelled ?
